Eliot Jacobson is an advantage player, one of the few casino gamblers who consistently wins. He has been kicked out of some of the best casinos in Las Vegas, sometimes nicely, sometimes not so nicely. Jacobson believes every player can beat the casinos fair and square at their own games. He wrote his new book, The Blackjack Zone, to help individual players beat the casinos at blackjack.

“I can’t promise that you can become a winner overnight because the process of becoming a winner is the same in blackjack as in any other sport or game: it takes study, practice and discipline,” Jacobson says. “My goal is to shift the odds to the player and make him a winner over his lifetime of play.”

“I wrote this book for the average recreational blackjack player, someone who knows how to play but isn’t winning and wants to know why,” Jacobson says. “There are a lot of myths about blackjack and a lot of snake-oil gimmicks, which I warn about in the book.” And if you are going to a casino this summer, it can really help. Writing in a humorous and entertaining style, Jacobson makes it clear that the same lessons that make someone a winner at the tables will help that person be a winner in life.

In The Blackjack Zone Jacobson explains:
* What Basic Strategy is and how to use it
* How to become an advantage player
* How to choose the right game, dealer and casino
* How to separate myths about blackjack from the realities of the game
* How to think like a winner and much more

Eliot Jacobson has a Ph.D. in Mathematics and has taught mathematics and computer science at the university level for over 25 years. He discovered his talent for card counting at a mathematics convention in Las Vegas in 1996 and was immediately hooked. Jacobson hosts the popular website, www.cardcounter.com. As an advantage blackjack player, he is a frequent guest on radio and TV shows, including a recent appearance in the National Geographic Channel special, Beating Vegas. And he might be at the table with you, the one beating the house!
