Poker is one of the hottest crazes these days and who better to cover the World Series of Poker than one of gambling's hottest reporters, Jenny Woo?

Ms. Woo will be on hand at numerous major industry events taking place July 5 through the 8th in Las Vegas. In addition to the World Series of Poker, Jenny Woo will be in attendance at the much heralded Bodog.com Poker and Sports Marketing Conference as well as that company's big bash held at The Palms. She will also be on hand at the PartyPoker celebration.

PartyPoker's parent company, PartyGaming, went public on the London Stock Exchange June 27 where its shares were priced 116p, the biggest London flotation in five years. With a valuation of £4.64bn, the owner of PartyPoker, set up in 1997, is worth more than established companies such as British Airways, J Sainsbury and ICI.

"There is nothing more rewarding than being part of this exciting industry and I truly believe the best is yet to come," commented Woo.

Jenny Woo is known for her brash "in your face" reporting style that is so lacking in today's media. Over the past year she has amassed a sizeable following, particularly among online gambling industry professionals.

She is also known for her photogenic appeal, which comes secondary to her writing.

"It's no secret that I am beautiful. Nobody needs to tell me that," Woo stated. "Well, okay, it is no problem when people reaffirm that quality. But I make it a point not to let beauty get in the way of my fervor to cover industry news and media events."

The Bodog.com Conference; The PartyGaming Celebration; The World Series of Poker - when it comes to gambling, these are major league events.

"Poker's popularity has exploded over the past two years as is evident in the exposure it now receives on several major network and cable television stations," commented Gambling911.com Marketing Director, Thomas Jensen. "Bodog.com's founder and CEO Calvin Ayre has capitalized on this craze by organizing the first ever conference geared towards poker marketing. Ayre is a true innovator when it comes to online gambling and this event promises to be one of the most talked about industry happenings for a long time to come."

Presenters include three time World Series of Poker Champion, Daniel Negreanu. Daniel is the hottest and most popular poker player in the world today. At the tender age of 30, he has over 35 tournament victories and is the reigning Card Player Magazine Player of the Year, World Poker Tour Player of the Year and World Series of Poker Player of the Year.

Jenny Woo looks forward to interviewing Mr. Negreanu.

The Bodog Conference will also devote an entire day to sports marketing, during which time Mr. Mike Ditka and Mr. Reggie Jackson will be sharing old war stories from on and off the field as well as imparting their tips on achieving success in life.

Mike Ditka won NFL titles as a player with both the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys and was the first ever tight-end inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He became head coach of the Bears in 1982, and with what is widely regarded as one of the best defenses of all-time, leading the Bears to a Super Bowl title in 1985.

Mr. Ditka spent a total of 14 seasons as an NFL head coach.

As for Reggie Jackson, chances are you know the name even if you've never watched a single game of baseball.

One of the game's premier power hitters, Reggie Jackson stands 9th on Major League Baseball's all-time home run list with 563 and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993.

The consummate clutch hitter, Mr. Jackson gained the nickname "Mr. October" for his World Series heroics with both the Oakland Athletics and the New York Yankees. He is perhaps best known for his three home run performance in Game 6 of the 1977 World Series.

Jenny Woo will be a busy reporter next week jumping from one event to another, mingling with the most prominent celebrities and sports figures of our time.

"This will be one of the most challenging times of my career but I am up for the challenge," commented Woo.

Her job will become all the more busier as Jenny Woo was named Assistant Moderator of the Gambling911.com Posting Forum this past weekend.
She will join Gambling911 poker expert Bones McCoy, who assumes the Head Moderator position July 20.

During her time in Vegas, Jenny Woo will be interacting with Gambling911.com readers via the internet. And for those lucky enough to be in Vegas, they will get to meet her live.

Gambling911.com recently started focusing exclusively on its current brand name after pushing its co-branded Sports911.com to the forefront over the past two years.

"We wanted to capture the sports crowd but found there was too much confusion operating under two different names," explained Jensen. "Furthermore, most of the diehard readers continued referring to us as Gambling911.com regardless."

And the web site will be focusing heavily on poker and casino gambling over the second part of this year.

"Poker and online casino sponsors are already beginning to line up. WinwardCasino.com and IGotPoker.com will join the Gambling911 family in July. From there it is a crap shoot since we'll be accepting advertising from this sector less frequently than we do with sportsbook operations, which for five years now have been our bread and butter."

Look for Jenny Woo's reporting all next week from Las Vegas and be sure to check her out in the Gambling911.com Posting Forum:
