| Cache Creek Casino Resort Chooses EatecNetX as Its Back-Office Software Solution |
Eatec Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise back-office solutions and services for the hospitality and foodservice industries, announced today that Cache Creek Casino has selected EatecNetX, Eatec's web-centric software solution.
EatecNetX will be used primarily for purchasing of inventory and the control of inventory movement among the casino's warehouse, production kitchens, restaurants, and retail shops. In the retail gift shops, EatecNetX will print the merchandise labels upon arrival of merchandise. These bar-coded labels also facilitate the counting of inventory via the EatecPocket PDA wireless devices. In addition, new items added to the EatecNetX database will seamlessly update the current POS system. By using the purchasing, inventory control, production management, and requisition and transfer functions in EatecNetX, the casino has already noted a significant decrease in food costs. Accounting data will be exported from EatecNetX to Cache Creek's accounts payable and general ledger systems.
